Explore the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area! Located just off Route 115 near Blakeslee, the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is a 130-acre preserve frequently visited for hiking, fishing, waterfall viewing and picnicking.

In addition to its wide, flat waterfalls, the natural area features three blazed hiking trails: The Orange-Blazed Pine Trail is an easy half-mile path; The Blue-Blazed Highland Trail loops about a mile through hardwood and pine forests, and the red-blazed Creek Trail follows the creek out and back for a little over two miles. Leashed pets are welcome at the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area. Fishing is permitted in season.

Check In is 4pm and Check Out is by 11am. Any Early Check-In or Late Check-Out requests can be submitted 48 hours prior to your arrival or departure date. If we are able to do an Early Check-In or Late Check-Out, there is a fee for each service. We will make every effort to accommodate requests, but are not guaranteed.
